Purpose:

Are you passionate about fostering grassroots football and building community engagement? As our Grassroots and Community Outreach Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and implementing grassroots initiatives, creating proprietary tournaments, and managing relationships with educational institutions, corporate groups, and community partners. Your role will be instrumental in expanding our grassroots football ecosystem and driving community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

●       Act as the primary liaison between the Club and YBSA.

●   Collaborate with YBSA to plan and oversee grassroots activities.

●   Develop and implement proprietary tournaments and leagues within Kerala’s grassroots football ecosystem.

●   Design and launch school-level football tournaments and leagues across Kerala.

●   Build relationships with educational institutions to encourage participation.

●   Manage promotion, registration, and administration of events.

●   Establish football tournaments and leagues for corporate groups, including tech companies, business sectors, and government bodies.

●   Engage corporate partners to secure sponsorships and participation.

●   Organize and manage events to foster community spirit.

●   Oversee and conduct regular audits of YBSA operations.

●   Ensure efficient operation and management of YBSA elite centers (U8 to U13).

●   Monitor progress and performance of elite center initiatives.

●       Oversee branding of YBSA centers.

Requirements:

●       Master’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field.

●   Prior experience in grassroots football development, community outreach, or event management, preferably within a sports organization.

●   Strong understanding of football culture and community engagement.

●   Excellent organizational and project management skills.

●   Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze, consult, and perform massage treatments in a professional and comfortable setting.
Design massage sessions tailored to players’ specific complaints or problem areas.
Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions based on players’ requirements.
Provide pre-match massages to help prepare players’ muscles for the physical demands of the game. This includes techniques to increase blood flow, flexibility, and muscle readiness.
Use massage to enhance joint mobility and overall flexibility, ensuring players have optimal range of motion.
Be on standby to provide immediate care for muscle cramps, spasms, or minor injuries that can be managed with quick massage therapy during training/matches.
Work closely with the Medical Team of the club to manage any acute injuries that occur during the game, offering massage as part of the immediate treatment plan.
Provide post-match massages to aid in muscle recovery, reduce soreness, and minimize the effects of fatigue.
Assist in the rehabilitation process for injured players by providing targeted massage therapy to promote healing, improve circulation, and reduce scar tissue formation.

Requirements:

Certified Massage Therapist with a specialization in sports massage.
Experience working with athletes, preferably in a sports club or team setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to listen to players and adapt massage techniques to meet their needs.
Capability to design effective massage sessions for different types of sports-related complaints.

Responsible for

● Preferably 2 years of coaching experience in Football Clubs/Academies/National Level
● Professional Proficiency in English
● Leadership Orientation
● Accepts accountability for all tasks and is able to take responsibility for outcomes
● Experience in achieving outcomes and results through influencing the way resources are utilized as well as in managing them directly.
● Strong people management experience.
● Communication skills to cater to internal/external stakeholders
● Proactive in planning, organizing, and managing multiple priorities
● Comfortable with ambiguity and navigating fast-paced changes
