Kerala Blasters FC

Thank You, Jessel

Kerala Blasters FC can confirm that Club captain Jessel Carneiro will leave the Club after his contract runs out on May 31. The left-back’s journey with the Blasters comes to an end after four incredible years.

Jessel, who joined the Club prior to the 2019-20 Hero ISL season, made an instant impact for Kerala Blasters in his debut season. During his first season, he exhibited exceptional defensive skills, neutralizing opponent attacks while actively contributing to the team’s offensive plays.

A string of consistent performances led to Jessel’s multi-year extension and promotion as vice-captain of the Club in the subsequent season. Jessel would then step up to fill in admirably as Club Captain for the remainder of the season after a mid-season injury to the then captain, Sergio Cidoncha.

In the ensuing 2021-22 season, Jessel was appointed as the Club’s permanent captain. His leadership and determination is exemplified by the fact that despite a mid-season shoulder injury that kept him on the sidelines, Jessel continued to lead the team with one of the youngest squads in the league at hand. With various players in only their debut season for the Club, under Jessel’s captaincy, the Club finished in the top four and as runners-up in the Championship final.

In his four seasons with the club, Jessel amassed over 65 appearances, providing 6 assists. He leaves the club as a Club icon and fan favorite.

The club extends its sincerest gratitude to Jessel for his unwavering contributions on and off the field. We wholeheartedly wish him the very best in all his future endeavors and look forward to welcoming him back at Kaloor.

Generative AI Wont Revolutionize Game Development Just Yet

Generative AI: Why it matters for you and your business

And whilst the inherent tactility of brand experiences isn’t going anywhere, it’d be naive to think Generative AI won’t have some sort of impact on both experiences, and the way brands and agencies work to conceive, design, and deliver them in the future. Additionally, generative AI facilitates ongoing risk monitoring and early detection of potential issues. By continuously analysing data streams and identifying subtle changes, insurers can proactively manage risks, prevent fraud, and mitigate potential losses. This proactive approach not only strengthens the insurer’s position but also enhances customer trust and confidence in the coverage provided. Imagine a world where machines can create art that rivals the works of renowned human artists, compose music that evokes deep emotions, or write stories that captivate readers. Generative AI is an umbrella term that refers to any of these models that produce novel outputs.

  • In consumer and retail, the technology promises the ability to tailor messages more tightly to individual consumers.
  • This can help prevent potential risks and ensure that the technology is being used in a responsible and ethical manner.
  • Games still employ systems that grew from early technological limitations, like dialog or behavior trees.
  • Understanding Generative AI is no longer a luxury but a necessity for business leaders who wish to stay ahead in this digital age.
  • By utilising algorithms that analyse images or other visual data, insurers can expedite claim processing, minimising the time and effort required from customers.

Get in touch with us here and let’s revolutionize the way you access business insights together. With the right amount of sample text—say, a broad swath of the internet—these generative AI models can become quite accurate. Typically, companies either inspect data packets or scan and index them for later intelligence, but as the amount of data grows exponentially, the chances of missing a threat are constantly increasing.

Generative Artificial Intelligence: beyond deepfake, the new frontiers of innovation

One common example of an LLM is ChatGPT, which demonstrates the practical applications of generative AI. By harnessing the power of LLMs, ChatGPT is capable of engaging in context-aware conversations with users. One notable example of generative AI is Large Language Models (LLMs), which are powerful tools that learn from huge amounts of text found in various sources like websites, books, and articles. Data scientists and other human analysts already in the enterprise can use AI to look objectively at all data and detect threats. Vulnerabilities will emerge, so using artificial intelligence and human data science techniques will help find the needle in the haystack and respond quickly.

Efforts are being made to develop technologies to detect and prevent deepfakes, but their effectiveness remains limited as the technology continues to evolve rapidly. To give you an idea of the incredible creativity in deepfakes, this TED discussion with AI developer, Tom Graham, provides an overview of the existing deepfake technology available and where it’s heading. Experts identified the use of AI-generated deepfakes in an attack ad against rival Donald Trump by the campaign endorsing Ron DeSantis as the Republican presidential nominee in 2024. In this article, we will explore the ways in which generative AI technology is fueling the spread of deepfakes, causing harm to the public discourse and the potential consequences of this trend for our society. With deepfakes becoming not only easier and cheaper to produce but more realistic and harder to determine if they’re fake, the potential for them to be used for malicious purposes is growing rapidly. Applications are the specific use cases within a business for AI, and these generally fall into one of a number of high-level categories, which is what we will be looking at today.

Applications of Generative AI – Reason Behind the Need for Similar Content

As the laws governing AI evolve, definitions such as ‘AI system’, ‘AI user’, ‘AI provider’ and ‘AI-generated content’ are being created and negotiated. Some of these definitions may be broadly drafted and could capture companies that have not previously considered themselves to be AI genrative ai providers or users. Organisations will need to understand the countries and manner in which they intend to roll out the use of generative AI, as well as the scope of potentially relevant laws, in order to identify the laws applicable to their procurement and use of generative AI.

generative ai vs ai

At FlyForm, we introduced such a policy early on to ensure everyone was on the same page about what it can and can’t be used for. With the speed ChatGPT has spread, it’s important that any new technology is adopted correctly. Responses are drawn from existing material, and, using that GANs back-and-forth approach, the output is worked until it resembles something new, made from existing materials. genrative ai Copyright and content ownership has been a sticky subject since the dawn of the Internet. With the speed that images and information now spread, tracing the original source and verification has become a tricky challenge. Potentially the biggest tech term of 2023, OpenAI’s ChatGPT has had a huge impact on people’s awareness of just how far GenAI has come and what it’s capable of.

Yakov Livshits

As organisations reinvent their operating models to leverage Generative AI, inevitably they will need to adapt internal workflows, supply chain processes and productivity output. This, in turn, will impact on their people and raise questions in Organisational Design. How many people will need to be recruited and trained to manage the systems company-wide, or within each functional area? Only with time can we answer these questions, but they will require a lot of thought and careful consideration. As generative AI becomes more advanced, it is also becoming more accessible to developers and researchers who may not have a background in machine learning.

Some generative AI tools are freely available online – either as stand-alone tools or as products that can integrate into a chain of tools that are provided by multiple developers. Although early adoption and experimentation with generative AI is key to realising its potential, if your business does not guide or restrict the use of these tools, they could potentially be used by your personnel in unanticipated and undesirable ways. Generative AI relies on the collection and analysis of vast amounts of data, which raises concerns about privacy.

The risk of relying solely on AI

Organizations like OpenAI, Stability Ai, Cohere, and our software at Speak Ai are seeing large adoption. In 2022, Jason Allen won first place in the Digital Art section of the Colorado’s State Fair Art contest for his piece ‘Théâtre D’opéra Spatial’, created using Midjourney’s AI image-generating programme. Allen inputted a combination of words and phrases and chose an image from over 900 outputs generated by the programme before printing the final product on canvas.

Examples include media houses needing skills to translate creative visions into prompts, auto companies seeking skills to generate data for simulations, and financial firms leveraging GenAI models to augment financial risk models. Artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionize the way small business owners create content for their businesses. By simplifying the content creation process and enhancing the effectiveness of published materials, such as website content, videos, newsletters or blogs, AI can save entrepreneurs both time and money. Such requirements are particularly important where AI systems are relied on for operationally critical, regulated or customer-facing processes, especially as it may not be immediately obvious when the operation of an AI system has been hijacked.

For example, a bank’s model for predicting the risk of default by a loan applicant would not also be capable of serving as a chatbot to communicate with customers. For example, following the launch of OpenAI’s foundation model GPT-4, OpenAI allowed companies to build products underpinned by GPT-4 models. These include Microsoft’s Bing Chat[11], Virtual Volunteer by Be My Eyes (a digital assistant for people who are blind or have low vision), and genrative ai educational apps such as Duolingo Max,[12] Khan Academy’s Khanmigo[13] [14]. A foundation model can be accessed by other companies (downstream in the supply chain) that can build AI applications ‘on top’ of a foundation model, using a local copy of a foundation model or an application programming interface (API). In this context, ‘downstream’ refers to activities post-launch of the foundation model and activities that build on a foundation model.

KERALA BLASTERS FC EXTENDS CONTRACT WITH WINGER NIHAL SUDEESH TILL 2026

Kerala Blasters FC is elated to announce that Nihal Sudeesh has signed a new contract committing his future to the club till 2026.

The Kochi native, after being an integral part of the Kerala Blasters youth sides, made his senior team appearance during last year’s Hero ISL.

Nihal’s love and connection with Kerala Blasters goes beyond his time joining the youth development program with KBFC. In the 2015-16 Hero ISL season, Nihal was a ball boy at the sidelines of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi from where he witnessed all the action from close quarters, igniting a passion for football within him that has driven his growth ever since.

After a period of time within KBFC’s youth system, Nihal represented the KBFC Reserves team in the 2019-20 I-League 2nd division, prior to pursuing a job with the Indian Navy.

However, Nihal would soon quit his job at the Navy to follow his passion for football with a complete focus on KBFC. In 2022 he would represent the club’s reserve team at the Reliance Foundation Development League and Next Gen Cup in the UK. His impressive performances earned him a senior team call-up during pre-season and he eventually cemented a place in the squad.

In his first year with the senior team, Nihal made an encouraging 6 appearances in the Hero ISL and Super Cup showcasing a great turn of pace, mentality, and willingness to learn and improve.

Commenting on the extension, Karolis Skinkys, Kerala Blasters Sporting Director, said :

Nihal Sudeesh’s energy, creativity, and speed make him an ideal winger, ticking all the right boxes in terms of skill and temperament.

He has been someone who has grown through our system, so it was very heartening to see him make constant progress as a player during last year’s ISL. I am very pleased that Nihal agreed to sign a contract extension, committing his future with the club till 2026. I wish Nihal all the very best and hope he would cement himself within the core of the KBFC squad, during the upcoming time period.”

KERALA BLASTERS EXTEND CONTRACTS WITH MUHAMMAD SHAEEF, MOHAMMED AIMAN & MOHAMMED AZHAR UNTIL 2026

Kerala Blasters FC is happy to announce contract extensions with three upcoming young native talents in Muhammad Shaeef (20) Mohammed Azhar (20) & Mohammed Aiman (20) until 2026.

These three players with their own particular set of expertise will be manning different halves of the pitch, after having spent time within the Kerala Blasters development system honing their skills and getting game time against the best players within their age bracket from around the country, in various development tournaments.

It is through steady and consistent performances through that period,in tournaments like Durand Cup and RF Development League especially over the last season, that these players have managed to make their ways into the Kerala Blasters senior squad.

Mohammed Aiman and Mohammed Azhar are identical twins but their on-field game remains vastly different, Aiman being a Left Winger is known to launch attacks from the wings, feeding the ball to the strikers in attacking positions or even creating goal scoring chances himself, whereas Azhar being a central midfielder is more proficient in moving the ball forward and creating various plays across the midfield.

Compared to Azhar & Aiman, Muhammed Saheef is a relatively new entrant within the Kerala Blasters set-up, however his performances with the developmental games and overall talent to man the backend of the formation makes him a player with plenty of promise. He even made his senior team debut in the recently concluded Super Cup, 2023 in Kozhikode.

Commenting on these extensions, Karolis Skinkys, Kerala Blasters Sporting Director, said:

“”Extremely happy to see three young upcoming players, from our Kerala Blasters Youth system rising through the ranks and making a place within the nucleus of the senior team, all these players bring along their own specific skill sets and raw talent which will add more depth and variety to our main squad. I wish them nothing but success and growth as players in this upcoming phase of their careers.”

The Club would like to wish Mohammed Azhar, Mohammed Aiman and Muhammed Shaeef on their contract extensions, We hope they will use this opportunity with the club, as a platform to showcase their talent and put forward an exciting brand of new age football.
